Bicycle and Pedestrian Facilities Map

MACOG has recently developed a regional, on-road, signed bicycle network.  Initially, the route system will include road segments in Elkhart and St. Joseph Counties, with connections to Marshall County's existing signed bicycle route network planned for the future.  The proposed routes were reviewed by the Elkhart and St. Joseph County Bicycle/Pedestrian Committees and the TTAC in the Spring of 2001.  Routes were finalized and the route map was endorsed by the Policy Board in June 2001 and updated in June 2004.

The Regional Bicycle Facilities Map is now available from MACOG.  The map is available at  local libraries, parks departments, bike shops, colleges, businesses, government offices, Chambers of Commerce, Convention and Visitors Bureaus, and bike clubs to help facilitate general public distribution.  The map is usually redistributed to local bike shops in the spring.  A digital version of the map (county facilities and limited city inset maps) is available from the links below.  A hard copy of the complete map is available from MACOG at (574) 674-8894.
