MACOG Announces FY 2026 Section 5310 Call for Projects for South Bend Urbanized Area

MACOG is pleased to announce the opening of the FY 2026 Section 5310 “Enhanced Mobility of Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities” Call for Projects for the South Bend Urbanized Area.

MACOG serves as the designated recipient of Federal Transit Administration (FTA) funding under the Section 5310 program, which provides capital funding to improve mobility for older adults and individuals with disabilities, including the purchase of accessible vehicles.

Eligible applicants include private nonprofit organizations and authorized units of local government that provide transportation services within the South Bend Urbanized Area.

Funding is available for capital projects, with projects typically funded at 80% federal share and 20% local match.

Application and program information are available online at: www.macog.com/section-5310. Applications must be submitted no later than 4:00 pm on Friday, July 10, 2026.

MACOG will host a virtual information session on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at 11:00 am to provide an overview of the program and answer questions. Interested applicants may contact MACOG to receive the meeting link.
